This filmstock originates from a pilot-coating and is therefore prone to have imperfections and artifacts. It also shows - in accordance with the high sensitivity - clearly visible film grain. It can be processed to a Color Negative in ECN-2 or C41 (for subsequent Telecine) or "cross-processed" in E6 - also for Telecine.
In our opinion, this filmstock is less suitable for projection. So not the best option for classic amateur or holiday films. But it is an excellent choice for experimental filmmaking and artists!
The affordable price and the characteristics (pure analog filmlook!) invite you to experiment and try out different shooting and processing techniques.
When processing is done by machine, it is mandatory to use machines designed for 8mm or 16mm film, as these transport the film more "gentle" and with less tension. Excessive pressure on the wet emulsion should be avoided.
Limited quantity - Available while stocks last.
